WG5 lead will be the ‘Science Communication Manager – SCM’ assisted by a technical communication manager who will act as webmaster (an ECI). WG5 will include WG1-WG4 leaders and other key WG participants to ensure the dissemination of engagement activities of all WGs. WG5 will develop the communication strategy of the Action and will coordinate the development of the website, newsletter, social media, materials for distribution (web-based and printed), dissemination of publications specially targeted to water- and environment managers, multimedia content, and media interviews. OA publications will be encouraged as well as publications in national water management journals. The SCM will closely collaborate with the COST Media Officer to further exploit COST media to promote the Action’s outcomes (e.g. ‘success stories’ or ‘to be avoided’). The SCM will collaborate with Local Organizers of regional/national meetings to invite local stakeholders. WG5 will moreover create contacts and links to past and existing related programs and networks.
