CYANOACTION was presented at the German Limnology Conference DGL 2026, organised by the German Society for Limnology, which took place on 14–15 September 2026 at the Erwin-Schrödinger-Zentrum, Rudower Chaussee 26, Berlin, Germany.
During the conference, Dr. Thomas Petzoldt presented a poster introducing the CYANOACTION COST Action and its overall structure. The poster highlighted the five Working Groups of the Action and illustrated how they interact with key stakeholder target groups, supporting CYANOACTION’s mission to strengthen collaboration between science, water management, authorities, and end-users.
The participation of CYANOACTION in DGL 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to increase the visibility of the Action within the limnology community and to promote exchange with researchers and professionals working on freshwater ecosystems, cyanobacterial blooms, monitoring, and management.
